Simple Request - Format all Bans and Suspensions in the following format
Title = User Name (as on server/forums). Include a Tag/Prefix for either Ban or Appeal. Threads will be merged where applicable.
First Post is for the Ban information, Second Post for Opinion based info related to the ban.
Third and ongoing for conversation.
A3 PID: #game_pid_if_known#
TS3 ID: #TS3_uid_if_known#
Length: #duration_as_text# (appeal type)
Reason: Unbiased reasoning for ban, this is the basic text. Include Mission Name, Date & Time.
Processor: (per filling/approving GM)
Try to list prior bans for ease of escalation/history.
Use Second post for opinion based ban information.
Ban Duration/Length Guidelines/Escalation
15 Minute - This is the Default Regular Ban/Simple Disruption
24/48/72 Hour - This is the Default Game Disruption/Escalation Scale
1/2/4 Week - Problem users, Combative/Argumentative, Default Punishment Scale
1/3/6 Month - Intentional Disruption/Attack/Problem Escalation Scale
Permaban - Final escalation used for Threats of Harm/Legal Issues/Users showing a complete unwillingness to adapt or change to guidelines and standards of the community.
Common Sense should be applied in ban length and duration, suspensions of bans should work on the same scale. Again with all bans/suspensions/appeals common sense should be the guiding aspect.
All Bans/Suspensions less than 30 minutes need to be recorded (Discord or Review Threads).
All Bans/Suspensions issued for over 30 minutes will be posted on the Forums.
All Bans/Suspensions issued for over 2 hours will be posted on the Forums and reviewed by an Officer.
