Hello, myself and Headshot are currently working on new WW2 events.
We'd like to make WW2 events more frequent, in the past these events have been some of the most popular the community has run, but they are difficult to set up because of time it takes to make missions.
Our current plan is to build up a large selection of WW2 missions, both updated from the last event, and newly created, get them tested, and then run multiple events in succession, perhaps monthly or every few weeks. Hopefully at that point, with a large pool of missions, established orbats and mission makers, it will then be much easier to keep the events rolling.
We currently have around 20 missions either made or in development, and a number of mission makers, however the more missions and mission makers we have, the better.

The event modpack would be the above collection, along with the regular UO modpack.
We are looking for both TVTs and COOPs anywhere between 30 players to 120, although bearing in mind Arma and performance factors, and numbers we get, the 60 to 90 player margin is a good area to aim for if you are unsure. Ideally we'd be looking for COOPs in the 60-70 ish player count, some smaller ones would be nice as well. TVTs ideally probably the 70 - to 90 range. We'd like a range, so not everyone does a 90 player TVT. Some 90+ would be nice as well, as well as a few under 70.
Mission makers are welcome to make large scale 80+ coops, I myself have made a number, but please be aware that until we are clearer with performance, even if we got the signups, we would not play more than one or two large playercount coops per event to avoid technical issues ruining any events.
We do not have any set deadlines yet, however we will be looking to set deadlines soon. It is likely that we would want missions made by the end of Feburary, and we would then run a testing event for them, and then start running events after that.
One thing to note, even if you do miss any deadline we set, I would encourage people to keep making missions for this, even if it is at a slow pace as they could then be used for future events.
Please note that you can use anything in the modpack in your missions, providing it isn't broken. This includes equipment from the normal UO modpack if it fits (eg I have used the 3CB commando mortar as a stand in for the British WW2 2inch mortar). There are a number of duplicates because of the various mods (there are for example 3 different K98K rifles), to avoid any arguments over what is better, use what ever you prefer, providing it works, and you make sure you give people the correct ammunition.
The caveat to that is that If the mission is broken because of incorrect ammunition, or is stupid and has Germans running around with AKs and isn't a LOL mission for instance, we will reject it during testing.
The only exception is broken content. Unfortunately this is currently most of the tanks in Faces of War mod, and the M1 Garand from IFA (which has stupid recoil). Fortunately these all have duplicates, but please do not use these in your missions. According to Impulse ACE cookoff and ACE weather should be turned off serverside, so issues with that should be resolved, please do not include any modules relating to this as a result.
Please be aware that things are provisional at the moment, so there are no set dates, and if you make a mission, it may not be played in the first event.
