Surprised no one has posted about this yet. Anyone tried this out? Looks quite interesting.

It's pretty good from what I've played of it so far. The Campaign server in my opinion is more interesting that playing on the regular servers. There also is a Foxhole Discord for getting together with folks on the side you're playing on.
Interesting fact: All the weapons and ammo, vehicles, and placeable buildings are created by players using materials in game, and supplies have to be manually transfered, as well as people spawning can only spawn at a place with Supply as well as actually having moved to that location first to set their spawn.
Zedic, Mills and a few others play it
Thanks guys for the info. Will probably grab a copy when have more time to play.
It's pretty promising, been with Foxhole since pre-pre-alpha. Basically what Emerald said, everything is player made except for the map itself of course.
At the start of a war, both sides (Warden & Colonial) start with a town with it's town hall, Manufacturing factory, 2 Weapon Factories already rebuilt.
You gather scrap to convert/smelt it into Basic Materials (Bmats), for making ammo, weapons, defenses, rebuilding town halls, factories, buildings for defense, etc etc.
you also have a small chance of getting something called Technology Part while gathering scrap, used for upgrading factories to a new tier, to allow you to make newer and better stuff, for an example you upgrade a Vehicle factory from 1 to 3 you can start making Light tanks.
You can learn more about it in-game, but in short Everything from Logistics, to patrol, to attack/defend is determined by the players them self, they are the ones who gather the resources, who transport the weapons, ammo and vehicles to the front line, and the ones who decides the front lines.
There is no "High command" unless you have been recognized by the people on your team, so most of the time you got people grouping up to do stuff, and there is a squad system, called Coalition, allowing you to claim vehicles (need 3 in the group), make markers on the map (public and need 5), and better organized, but sadly you need to get to rank WO1 (Warrant Officer).
It's not that complex once you've gotten into it.
Edit: Oh and the wars can indeed last for days, depending on how things are looking.
