UNITED OPERATIONS TRAINING CENTRECOURSE: Fire Team Leaders Course
DATE: 07 FEB 2012
TIME: 2000 Zulu
MINIMUM COURSE CANDIDATES: 4
MAXIMUM COURSE CANDIDATES: 15
PREREQUISITES: Famil course, Fireteam Operations, Navigation. (Exceptions made on an individual basis for those who feel comfortable with LandNav, Fireteam Ops, and ArmA2+ACE )
BRIEF OUTLINE:
WHAT: The Fireteam Leaders course is designed to teach you how to coordinate, utilize, and effectively lead a fireteam into combat. This course will cover a variety of topics that will leave you in much better stead and begin your formal training as a potential leader under guidance.
WHY: To be an effective leader you must first be an effective follower. This course takes into consideration that you have been a follower and operated within a Fireteam before and that you want to take the first step into a formal leadership position and understand what you should be doing as an FTL.
WHERE: The leadership principles and methods taught here will put you in good stead to effectively lead a fireteam or even a squad throughout your online FPS career.
Materials to be reviewed prior to the course will be distributed to course attendees one week in advance. Failure to review materials prior to the commencement of the course will result in removal from the training session. This course will consist of in-game instruction, hands on control of a fireteam of your peers, and live fire exercises.
I haven't taken the Fireteam Ops course, but I would still like to attend this, if allowed.

I think there will be one soon by Yaxxo also there will be a RTO, nac and rotary wing course in February but I don't know when (he said that the courses will be before the attack helicopter course).

Styx, if you understand the basics of how to read a map, call grids, and shoot an azimuth (find a bearing to a point) then you should be ok. Shoot me a PM.
